Clicking on the double up
arrow collapses the widget and
clicking on the double down arrow expands the widget.
Clicking on the X closes the widget.
Clicking on the search icon
opens a search text box. Enter the search text into the search text box to
search for layer names that contain the text entered. Click the Cancel button to end the search.
Clicking on the Layer List All Controls icon opens a drop down box where you can turn all layers on, turn all layers off, expand all layers or collapse all layers.
Operational layer visibility may be turned on by checking the
check box to the left of the layer name or
turned off by un-checking the check box.
For a layer to be visible its parent layers must also have
their visibility check box also checked.
Some
layers may not be visible even when their visibility is
turned on. This is because the layer may also have preset scale
visibility. Scale visibility is not
adjustable by the user.
Clicking on the right arrow to the left of the layer name
will expand the layer tree to give access to individual and group layer
controls.
Clicking on the down arrow to the left of the layer name
will collapse the layer tree down to the level of the down arrow.
Clicking the ellipsis icon
to the right of the operational layer displays the layer controls.
If a control is grayed out, the control is disabled for the
layer. An example would be the Move
down control is disabled for the bottom most layer since it
can't be moved down any farther.
Zoom to: Changes the
map extent to the extent of layer selected.
Transparency: Opens a slider control to adjust the transparency of the layer.
Set visibility range: Opens a slider control to adjust the maximum and minimum zoom level that a layer is visible.
Enable pop-up or Disable pop-up: Enables or disables pop-up information for layers that have pop-ups defined.
Move up: Moves the
layer up one position in the Layer
List and up one position in the display of the map.
Move down: Moves the
layer down one position in the Layer
List and down one position in the display of the map.
