Show Map Overview Help

Clicking on the Show Map Overview icon located in the lower right corner of the map will open the Map Overview.

The overview map shows the current map extent in a shaded rectangular area overlaid on a smaller scale map extent. This assists you in identifying where the current map window is viewing.
Clicking and dragging the shaded rectangular area to a new location will change the map extent match the new location of the shade rectangular area.
Clicking on the Hide Map Overview icon will hide the Map Overview.
Clicking on the Maximize icon will maximize the Map Overview to file the map area.
Clicking on the Restore icon will return the Map Overview to its original size.
Clicking and dragging the shade rectangular area to a new location will also return the Map Overview to its original size along with changing the extent of the map.
